Letter from Asst. Commissioner Norris to DD Taskforce

In the report entitled “Fulfill the Promise” the Developmental DisabilitiesTask Force appointed by the state legislature called for an increase in state funding for the Family Support Program, one of Tennessee’s only service programs that is available to persons with developmental disabilities other than mental retardation. The entire Family Support Program is now at risk due to the current state budget situation.
